Saline Graduation Day in Pictures
Saline High School held its graduation ceremony Sunday for the class of 2009. Reporter Jana Miller covered the event with freelance photographer Hiroshi Onuma. 423 students graduated from Saline High School May 31.
The Saline High School Advanced Placement test pass rate is No. 1 in Michigan.
14 National Merit finalists.
114 students graduated with highest honors.
More than $74,000 earned from over 100 local scholarships and local individual contributors.
$2 million in private sector and university scholarships.
$3.1 million in total scholarship money awarded to the class of 2009.
73 percent of graduates will attend four-year colleges and universities.
19 percent will attend two-year educational programs.
