Michigan Avenue cones coming down!

All of Saline will celebrate tomorrow as the construction along Michigan Ave gets a RED LIGHT. According to an email from MDOT via the Saline police and our wonderfully communicative Mayor Gretchen, the lines are due to be completed today and the lights should be cycling normally Thurs. This is amazingly good news. How many curse words have you let fly while waiting, not so patiently, to and from the high school? I'll be one of the first to kiss the black roadway on Thursday morning...if in fact the road is cleared of construction as announced. I won't believe it 'till I see it. Then, we'll all let out a collective sigh of relief. Kudos to MDOT for finishing a month early, I guess.
